Elizabeth “Liz” K. Morrie Scholarship Fund

When Liz passed away, family and friends created this scholarship fund for graduating Allegan High School students to honor her memory.

Wynn Morrie established with his family and friends one of the first scholarship funds held by the Allegan County Community Foundation in memory of his first wife Elizabeth K. Morrie.  The Elizabeth “Liz” Morrie Memorial Scholarship’s first scholarship award was in spring of 1999. Every year since then Wynn served on the committee to determine the Allegan High School senior awarded the scholarship.  Sadly Wynn passed away October 31, 2020.
