Name of Fund:  Safe Harbor Endowment Fund

Purpose:  The Safe Harbor endowment was established to provide for the operations and programs of Safe Harbor.

Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Center began in 1983 providing child abuse prevention services. Since that time, the agency has added several programs to provide free services to child abuse and neglect victims in Allegan County.

The Children’s Advocacy Center and the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program began in the mid to late 1990′s. These programs provide free services including forensic interviews, counseling, advocacy, court advocacy, and a multi-disciplinary team approach to each sexual and severe physical abuse case.

Our Vision: Our vision is a community where all children are safe from abuse and neglect, where citizens are educated about, and dedicated to protecting children.
